Adoption process:
We will pre-select the most suited homes and ask prospective adopters to complete and return a more detailed Adoption Questionnaire. After narrowing down to the most suited homes for the dog in question we will contact potential adopters directly to discuss the details and to arrange a meet and greets..
Fostering is basically providing a temporary home for a dog until the dog can be re-homed. As a carer you provide a soft bed, food, and a safe and secure yard for the dog, like you would do for your own dog. Some dogs need to see the vet and as a carer you are required to take the dog to the rescue vet, the rescue will pay all vet expenses. Fostering can be very rewarding – you will play one of the main parts in saving a dog from death row!
Foster Care process:
Fostering is an extremely rewarding experience and you will play an active part in saving a dog’s life. When the need arises we will contact you further and ask you to complete our Foster Carer Agreement Form which will need to be signed and return prior to the commencement of fostering for Boxer Rescue Network Australia.
We take the job of matching any of our dogs with their foster carer and new forever home very seriously to ensure the best outcome for the dogs. This process may take some time and our decision is final.
Before completing an application form, please take the time to watch the two videos below. They explain why we have restrictions and how to increase your chances of a successful application.
